PRIVACY POLICY STAY COMPRESS Last updated: May 14, 2026 1. PRIVACY COMMITMENT Stay Compress has been designed under the fundamental principle of Privacy by Design. The developer has no access to your images or files, does not collect personal data of any kind, and does not track your activity under any circumstances. This application has been developed respecting general principles of privacy and data protection, and operates completely autonomously on your device. 2. ON-DEVICE PROCESSING All image processing, including compression, resizing, quality adjustment, and metadata management, is performed exclusively on your own device using iOS operating system technology. Your images and files never leave your device and are not transmitted to any external server, cloud, or third party. This means that: • There is no network communication related to your images or files. • No images or multimedia content are stored on the developer's servers. • There is no intermediary with access to your content. • All compression processing occurs entirely on your device using native iOS capabilities. The Application creates temporary files during the compression process that are stored on the device and are automatically deleted by the iOS operating system when they are no longer needed or when storage space is insufficient. The developer is not responsible for the management of these temporary files. 3. ACCESS TO DEVICE RESOURCES The application may request access to the following resources on your device, always for specific purposes and under your explicit control: Photo Library: • To allow you to select the images you want to compress. • To save compressed images to your camera roll, only if you explicitly request it through the export function. These accesses are managed entirely by the iOS operating system and are subject to the permissions you explicitly grant. The developer has no visibility whatsoever over the content of your photo library. You can revoke these permissions at any time from Settings > Privacy & Security on your device. Regarding iCloud storage: if your photo library is synced with iCloud, images you save using Stay Compress will automatically sync according to your iCloud account settings. This synchronization is managed exclusively by Apple Inc. and is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy (apple.com/privacy). The developer of Stay Compress has no access to those files, does not store them on their servers, and does not participate in their management. 4. ZERO DATA COLLECTION This application DOES NOT collect, store, transmit, or process on external servers any of the following data: • Personal identification information: name, email, phone number, address. • Images, photos, or any multimedia content from your device. • Image metadata (GPS, date, camera information, EXIF) processed or removed by the user. • Diagnostic data, crash logs, or usage telemetry generated by the app. • Advertising identifiers (IDFA) or cross-app tracking data. • Geographic location data (GPS or other method). • Device information such as model, operating system version, or unique identifiers. • Behavioral data, usage patterns, or analytics of any kind. • Compression settings, format preferences, or quality settings selected by the user. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the developer reserves the right to incorporate anonymous analytics tools or third-party services in the future. Should such incorporation occur, this Privacy Policy will be updated prior to its implementation, as described in Section 11. 5. DATA COLLECTED BY APPLE Apple Inc. may automatically and independently collect certain anonymous diagnostic and telemetry data from the system through the App Store and iOS operating system, regardless of the application's distribution phase. This collection is managed exclusively by Apple and is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy (apple.com/privacy). The developer of Stay Compress has no access to this data, does not control it, and does not participate in its collection or processing. This data never reaches the developer's servers. This Apple data may include, according to their own policies: • Anonymous system crash reports. • Technical device performance data. • Operating system diagnostic information. SUBSCRIPTION — PURCHASE MANAGEMENT Stay Compress is marketed through a subscription model. Payment processing and subscription management are handled entirely by Apple Inc. through the App Store. The developer of Stay Compress does not receive, process, store, or have access to your financial data, credit card information, or billing data. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in accordance with Apple App Store policies. Users can manage, restore, or cancel their subscription at any time from their iOS device settings. Cancellation times, renewal conditions, and refund policies are established and managed exclusively by Apple Inc. in accordance with their own App Store policies. Access to features: The application's premium features (also called PRO) require an active subscription. If the subscription expires or is canceled, access to these features will no longer be available and the user will revert to free user limitations. Previously compressed images saved on your device will remain accessible. Price changes: Subscription prices may change at any time. Apple Inc. may notify such changes through the App Store in accordance with their own policies. For any inquiries related to payments, renewals, or refunds, you should contact Apple directly through reportaproblem.apple.com. 7. PROMOTIONS OF OWN APPLICATIONS Stay Compress may display promotions for other applications developed by the same developer exclusively to users who do not have an active PRO subscription. Users with an active PRO subscription do not see any type of promotion within the application. Characteristics of these promotions: • They are first-party promotions of the developer's own applications published on the Apple App Store. • They are presented within the application interface in various ways that may include visual elements, links, or App Store product views. • They exclusively use StoreKit technology provided by Apple Inc. to display App Store product information. • They DO NOT use third-party advertising networks or external advertising services. • They DO NOT collect, transmit, or process the user's Advertising Identifier (IDFA). • They DO NOT require or use the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. • They DO NOT send user data, device information, or behavioral data to external servers for advertising purposes. • They DO NOT track user activity across applications or create user profiles. • They are managed completely locally on the user's device. The developer reserves the right to modify, add, remove, or change at any time and without prior notice: • The format, design, and presentation of promotions. • The location of promotions within the application interface. • The frequency with which promotions are displayed. • The specific applications being promoted. • The moments or contexts in which promotions appear. • Any other aspect related to the display of promotions. By tapping or interacting with a promotion, the user may be directed to the corresponding product page on the App Store through StoreKit, technology provided by Apple Inc. This interaction is managed by the iOS operating system and is subject to Apple's privacy policies (apple.com/privacy). The promotions displayed correspond exclusively to applications developed and published by the developer on the Apple App Store. The developer does not promote third-party applications or participate in affiliate programs or external advertising. Users with a PRO subscription enjoy a completely promotion-free and ad-free experience within the application. DISCLAIMER REGARDING PROMOTIONS: Each promoted application is an independent application with its own terms of use, privacy policy, and functionalities. The developer assumes no responsibility for: • The accuracy or timeliness of information displayed in promotions. • The continued availability of promoted applications on the App Store. • Changes in features, functionalities, or prices of promoted applications. • The compatibility of promoted applications with the user's device or operating system. • Technical problems, errors, or interruptions in the display of promotions. • The user's experience when using promoted applications. Promotions are displayed "as-is" without warranties of any kind. The user acknowledges and accepts that each promoted application operates independently and is subject to its own terms and conditions. Downloading and installing any promoted application is at the user's own risk. The developer reserves the right to suspend, modify, or remove promotions at any time without prior notice and without incurring any liability. 8. IMAGE METADATA MANAGEMENT Stay Compress allows users to manage metadata embedded in their images, including: • GPS data (geographic location) • Date and time of capture • Camera information (brand, model) • EXIF data (ISO, aperture, shutter speed, focal length, flash) • Image orientation • Color profile • Author and copyright information The user has full control over which metadata to preserve or remove during the compression process. This functionality operates exclusively on the user's device. The developer has no access to this metadata at any time, neither before nor after processing. IMPORTANT: Removing GPS metadata can be useful to protect your privacy when sharing images on social networks or public platforms, as this data can reveal the exact location where the image was taken. 9. USER-GENERATED CONTENT AND USAGE RESPONSIBILITY Stay Compress is an image compression tool that allows users to reduce the size of their images through quality, resolution, and format adjustments. The user is solely and exclusively responsible for the content they use, process, and distribute through this application. The developer is not responsible under any circumstances for: • The use of images over which the user does not possess the corresponding intellectual property rights. • Violation of copyright, image rights, or other third-party rights arising from the use of the application. • The use of the application for creating or distributing false, misleading, defamatory, fraudulent content, or content that violates applicable law. • The distribution or publication of content processed through the application on third-party platforms. • Any claim, demand, damage, or harm arising from content processed with the app, including third-party claims for misuse of their intellectual property. • Loss, corruption, or inaccessibility of images due to factors external to the application, including changes to the operating system, app uninstallation, or modifications to the user's iCloud account. • Accidental or intentional deletion of metadata that the user considers important, including GPS data, author information, or copyright. The user declares and warrants that they possess all necessary rights to the content they use with this application, or that they have the appropriate authorizations to do so. The developer assumes no responsibility for breach of this declaration. 10. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY This application is not directed at children under 13 years of age. The minimum age may vary by country and is automatically determined by the Apple App Store in accordance with applicable local legislation. The developer does not intentionally request or collect personal information from minors. Since Stay Compress operates completely locally and without any type of user registration or data collection, use by minors does not generate profiles, cloud storage, or any type of identifiable data. However, it is recommended that minors use this application under the supervision of a responsible adult. 11. DATA SECURITY Since all information remains on your device at all times, the security of your images depends on the protection that Apple provides to the iOS operating system (device encryption, Face ID / Touch ID, etc.) and the measures you yourself adopt. The developer recommends: • Keeping your device with the most recent version of iOS. • Activating password or biometric protection on your device. • Performing periodic backups through iCloud or iTunes. • Carefully verifying compressed images before deleting originals. • Ensuring you have sufficient storage space on your device for image processing. 12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES This application is provided "as-is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Since everything is processed locally on your device, the user is solely responsible for the custody and backup of their original and compressed images. The developer of Stay Compress assumes no responsibility for: • Loss of images resulting from hardware or operating system failures. • Accidental deletion of photos or files by the user. • Direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the application. • Loss or alteration of locally saved images caused by application or iOS operating system updates. • Loss of visual quality or resolution resulting from the compression process, which is inherent to the nature of the application. • Deletion of metadata selected by the user, including GPS data, author information, or any other metadata. • Content of third-party websites or applications that may be accessed from the app. • Service interruptions, errors, or any other element that could affect the user's device. • Any claim arising from content processed with the application. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer's total liability to the user shall not exceed in any case the amount actually paid by the user during the last 12 months of subscription. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY The developer may occasionally update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the application, applicable legislation, or industry practices, including the possible incorporation of analytics tools or third-party services as indicated in Section 4. When significant changes are made, notification will be provided through: • Updating the "Last updated" date at the beginning of this document. • A notification within the application in the next available update. JURISDICTION AND APPLICABLE LAW This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, without prejudice to additional rights that the user may have under the legislation of their country of residence. Any dispute arising from the use of this application shall be submitted to the competent courts of Bolivia. 15. OFFICIAL LANGUAGE This Privacy Policy was originally written in Spanish. It may be translated into other languages for user convenience.
